TIME CAPSULE
Not only did we want to celebrate Killarney's 200th anniversary in 2020 by building the world's largest paddle, we decided it was important to include a time capsule as well. The time capsule will be locked for another 200 years and in 2220 our descendants can then unlock the capsule and learn more about what life was like in 2020.
If you would like to submit an item to be included in the time capsule within The Big Dipper, then email a photo of your proposed submission along with a brief explanation of why you think it is important. Submissions should be emailed to: bigdipper@killarney.com.
A few requirements regarding submissions:
1. All submissions once accepted will be donated and no longer owned by the donor
2. Nothing larger than 7” in diameter
3. No flammables or explosives
4. No liquids or anything with moisture content
5. Nothing requiring batteries
6. Nothing perishable
7. Nothing offensive
8. Must be odourless
